According to Kate: A Film Presentation with Chris Enss
New York Times bestselling author Chris Enss returns to The Sherwood at Friar Tucks for a special presentation of her award-winning film, According to Kate.
Based on Enss’s book According to Kate: The Legendary Life of Big Nose Kate, Love of Doc Holliday, the film brings the remarkable story of Kate Elder—better known as Big Nose Kate—to the screen.
Set in 1899 in Cochise, Arizona, According to Kate finds Kate looking back on the choices, relationships, and experiences that shaped her extraordinary life, including her turbulent and deeply devoted relationship with Doc Holliday and their years in Tombstone. Through Kate’s perspective, some of the most familiar stories of the American West take on new depth, revealing the woman behind the legend.
