Located in the heart of Nevada City, Friar Tucks has stood the test of time. It all started back in 1973, when the restaurant first opened its doors to the public. Since then, it has become a staple of the community and a symbol of the city's rich heritage.

In 2002, Friar Tucks faced a challenge that could have destroyed the restaurant and its legacy forever. The community came together is support as “The Hearts and Hands” of Nevada City.
