George Souza will play Friday the 13, Loraine Gervains has injured herself, can’t play, and will be substuited on Sat. the 14 by the infamous Tom MacDonald. Sunday John Girton, Monday Dave and Alice.

Just in; Ha-upu -u from Hawaii (coral sea bass) light, fluffy, yummy, and we have the biggest prawns you have ever seen with a tequila plum sauce this week. These prawns are big!

New on the board is Runquist’s Massoni Ranch Zinfandel, rich, big, awesome from Shenandoah Valley, and from Navarro…Gewurztraminer from Anderson Valley, without a doubt their best wine. Dry, big fruit.

We will be closed, as usual, Easter Sunday, we sort of celebrate traditional holiday’s with staff and family but are open surrounding the holiday. We have new Ono fish from Hawaii, Pork Tenderloin filets George Souza Sat, Dave and Alice singing 60′s tunes Monday. It is still cold so check out our new curtains on the front doors…tell us if you like them. Have Runquist ‘Z’ Zinfandel on the board this week and Dave (one of our chefs) has a new potato dish he thinks is cool. Join us with yøur visiting family

What a surprise, a break in the weather just in time!. No snow, (maybe Sunday?) Yes we will have slow cooked corned beef (if you must). We have tons (30#’s). Tonight Kelly Fleming with his musical team will make this winter night fun. Remember, we have 4 heat system to keep you warm, and a new drink…Chocolate Fondue Martini. Tell the bartenders you read about it on the web.

We got some more Hapuka Sea Bass from Hawaii, sooo good and Spring Lamb Loin T-Bones on the specials. J. Girton plays Sunday and Dave and Alice 60′s harmonies on Monday. Don’t let the weather curb you fun and appetite. Join us.

sorry valentines day is full, but days surrounding it are empty and this weekend we have Loraine Gervias and Steve Wall both nights, what can be better?

Carissa’s birthday is the 15th…she is in Portland (25 yrs old) working for Southern Wine and Spirits. Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay and Madrona Cab Franc are on the board this week. California Sea Bass and Pork Tenderloin are specials. The winter is pretty and mild.

Evidently we are not having winter in Nevada City this year. Continued clear and sunny. George Souza on the stage this weekend. New fish this week, California Sea Bass, (“best bet” Monterey Bay Aquarium…not the endangered stuff).

Valentines Day getting full, think about the day before or the day after. Love knows no time but becomes a Valentine if you get your sweetie in the door and have the nice food wine and music.

It is time for rain. Don’t worry, Friar Tuck’s is WARM. Four heat systems keep it warm, even in the windows (they have their own system). Warmest place is table #16 right IN the window. Coldest place, the end of the bar near the door, sorry, we are working on it. But it is the best seat for watching the action. So.

Fresh Bass from Hawaii today (Fed-Ex overnight) George Souza tonight, Dream and the Dreamer Sat (from Tahoe) they are a hoot. Girton on Sunday. Morgan’s new Santa Lucia Chardonnay on the board along with the last of Naughty Boy Pinot from Potter Valley.

John looks great with his new hair cut. Tell him.
